Year 10 Ruby Robbins was selected to play for North Wales in the County Cup in Aberdeen last weekend.
St David’s College is proud to announce that Finlay Rose (yr8) has been selected to represent North Wales Hockey in the U13’s age group. Finn, who plays for Eiras in Colwyn Bay, will be playing in a tournament in Nottingham this coming June and was selected from 50 boys from all over North Wales to represent the region. Well done Finn!
This week, parts of the UK were dazzled by the aurora borealis, also known as the northern lights, which were observed further south than their typical location. Ffion Wakeford (year 9) was in the right place and the right time to capture these wonderful pictures from her back garden in Llanfairfechan with nothing more than her mobile phone. Glimpses of these mesmerizing green and red flickering illuminations in the night sky were spotted as far South as Cornwall, and the North Wales Coastline had one of the best views in the country.
