I can trace my career back to a handful of teachers at Eirias High School who had a habit of answering my questions with better questions.

Our former pupil, Issie Peevor, decided to take a gap year after leaving school with A’ levels in Maths, Chemistry and Biology receiving AAA*. An incredible achievement. We caught up with her just before she heads off to study medicine at the University of Sheffield.

Thirty-five years is a long time to stay anywhere. Long enough that I've outlasted three photocopiers, a decade of educational fads, and some unusual fashions I once thought looked good in the school photograph.
