A GUIDE TO ADMISSIONS
Places are considered following an interview and tour with the Headmaster and are offered based on the success of that interview in conjunction with information gleaned from recent school reports and information from other educational professionals where appropriate, there is no entrance examination. We generally offer places to students who demonstrate good character and have a desire to learn.

THE ADMISSIONS JOURNEY INTO ST DAVID'S COLLEGE
Open Day / Personal Visit.
We have multiple Open Days across the year, some physical “on site” Open Days and some Virtual Open Days where you can attend from the comfort of your own home. We would recommend that as part of the admissions process you attend both one Virtual Open Day and an On-site Open Day to get a real understanding of what St David’s College can offer.
Virtual Open Days
You’ll be invited to attend an online conference with St David’s College. Departments from across the school will have a Virtual Table with members of staff ready to answer any questions you have. This is a great way to find out all you need to know and really engage with the teachers who will be educating your children.
Guided 360 Virtual Tour
A guided 360 Virtual Tour is available. See what makes our school unique with a guide on hand to answer all of your questions. These can be arranged at any time of the year.
On-site Open Days*
Our On-site Open Days include a welcome from the Headmaster, tours around campus, refreshments, and an opportunity to meet staff face to face. There will be demonstrations from different school departments, and you are welcome to stay to watch any games or activities that are taking place.
We can arrange a personal visit for a school tour. These will be arranged through the Admissions Department and generally take place during term time although special arrangements during school holidays can be accommodated.
*Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, On-site Open Days and Personal Visits during term time are currently on hold. Private Tours during school holidays can be arranged on an individual basis.
You will be asked to complete a registration form expressing an interest in sending your child to St David’s College. Once we have received your completed form, we request you provide a School Report from your child’s current school along with any supporting information or educational references to help your child’s admission. Forms can be requested by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Interview with the Headmaster
After we have received all the relevant information, your child will be invited for an informal, friendly conversation with the Headmaster. These usually take place over a video conference call and give the Headmaster the chance to get a better understanding of the individual.
Offer of a place
After interview, if we feel that the prospective pupil and St David’s College are a good fit for each other, an offer of a place will be made in writing. For that place to be secured the Acceptance form and deposit must be returned. Acceptance forms will be included with the offer of a place.
