Annie's Christmas Panto
Rehearsals for the forthcoming school production are well underway, and Matilda’s best friend Lavender, is being played by 10-year-old Annie who is already a seasoned performer.
Instead of relaxing at home over Christmas the talented Year 5 pupil spent most of it on stage as part of the pantomime cast of Robin Hood at Theatr Colwyn.
She joined the cast as one of the dancers from Pearl Shaw School of Performing Arts and was in her element.
“I had five different parts and so I had five different costumes,” said Annie.
“I was very busy over Christmas and I only had Christmas Day off, I performed on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve and I loved every minute of it!”
She added: “The rehearsals for Matilda are going really well, it’s going to be really fun.”
