Anti-Bullying Week 2021

Published: 15.11.2021 ( 2 years ago )

Today sees the start of Anti-Bullying Week 2021.

Today sees the start of Anti-Bullying Week 2021. Anti-Bullying Week is coordinated In England and Wales by the Anti-Bullying Alliance and takes place from 15 to 19 November 2021. The week will begin with Odd Socks Day which is supported by CBBC and CBeebies star Andy Day and his band Andy and the Odd Socks.

The theme for the week is “One Kind Word”. With all of the turmoil of the last few years, it is now more important than ever to remember how our words can have a massive effect on others. We can all make the choice to use our words to help those around us, give them support and encouragement, break down barriers and brighten their lives.

In a world that can sometimes feel like it’s filled with negativity, one kind word can provide a moment of hope. It can be a turning point. It can change someone’s perspective. It can change their day. It can change the course of a conversation and break the cycle of bullying.

It all starts with one kind word – and it starts today.
