St David’s College is looking to recruit a Second Chef to work within the busy catering department to prepare home-cooked food including cakes and desserts The key responsibilities would be ensuring the high standards of food preparation and ensuring that the kitchen is kept to a high standard of cleanliness and complying with all company health and safety policies and procedures. Reliability, flexibility, and punctuality with good communication skills are also key requirements. We require a minimum of 3 years working in the catering industry and level 2 food hygiene and safety. Previous experience of working with children is also desirable.
