Get hooked and never grow up

Rehearsals for our annual school production are well underway, and the word on the street is that Peter Pan is set to be one of our best productions yet.

The cast is packed with some brilliant young talent, with likes of Charlie as Peter Pan, Josh as Captain Hook (a part he is born to play), and Wendy is being played by both Lizzie and Olivia. There are also nine Lost Boys in the mix, Cian is playing Smee and rather unusually there are three Tinkerbells made up of Teagan, Amelie and Milly.

Head of Drama, Jennifer Appleton, said the production promises to be a fantastic evening of entertainment and amongst the drama there will be plenty of laughs in store.

Mrs Appleton said: “It really is going to be a great show. I’d been asked by the pupils if we could do Peter Pan for a couple of years now, so I thought it was time to do it.”

“We’ve got some fantastic talent all across the school from Year Five onwards, and some are great vocalists.”

The cast have been rehearsing since October, and four performances will take place at Theatr Colwyn, Colwyn Bay, on March 12, 13 and 14. Tickets cost £9.50 per adults, or £4.50 for concessions.
