Two school teams boys and girls got through to the North West Wales Tennis finals yesterday at the Arfon Tennis Centre. The boys team consisted of Josh Davies, Cai Riley, Jasper Bell and Sion Roberts. The girls team;Natalie, Summer Best, Molly O Leary, Katie Newell and Amy Mano.
It was a hot day for tennis and the boys team started off very well winning all their games against Bryn Refail 'B' team. They then played Bryn Refail A team which were a lot stronger. Josh and Jasper lost their singles but Cai and Sion won theirs so it depended on the doubles. Unfortunately both doubles were lost but their were some great serves but communication and positions on court needed to be worked on.
The girls also played some good tennis Natalie won one of her games but tge opposition were too strong for the other girls.
Overall a lot was learnt from the day and the students improved on tactical play and movement on court. Well done to all those that took part.
