Old Davidean John Njendahayo - Guest Speaker Speech Day and Manchester Celebration Dinner
We are organising a Manchester Dinner on the evening of Saturday 8th July 2017 to celebrate the work of John Njendahayo over the last 20 years. I hope many of you will join us.
As many of you know, John and St David’s College pupils, a number of very significant partner organisations and individuals, have developed extensive humanitarian projects in Uganda to address poverty and find innovative ways to create environmental and sustainable programmes, to bring quality of life to some of the poorest communities. This has had a huge impact on our school life and in the past two years has enabled two pupils to gain prestigious National Awards - Julius Muyombya 'The Business Studies BTEC Student of the Year Award' and Rachna Udasi the Tenner Challenge ‘The Inspiring Individual Award’. Year on year our pupils have had life changing experiences through joining to Uganda Teams. John and his wife Sophie and daughter Patience have been invited to be Guests of Honour at St David’s College Speech Day on Saturday 1st July this year, and we are taking this opportunity to gather as many of John’s friends, past pupils, parents and supporters and partners together for this celebration evening. John and I will be speaking to update us on the work and share the exciting vision for the future. It is a chance for Old Davideans, Link friends and partner organiasations, to connect, enjoy a fabulous evening of networking and inspiration and some great entertainment.
Tickets are £45 per person and can be booked via PayPal using this link https://www.link-international.org/events
