Old Davidean – Class of 96
What would you consider your greatest achievement? "Sporting playing age grade rugby in Sydney, Australia. Seeing so many students continue to play and take part in sport so long after leaving school is really rewarding."
As an Old Davidean and now a member of staff what would be your SDC highlight?
"When I was at school winning my school colours, I cherish that tie! At present it has to be seeing so many students taking part in school activities (we haven't even scratched the surface by the way!)"
With so many opportunities as a pupil here where would be your favourite destination?
"South Africa with a school in 96 was a trip of a life time. Taking the 1stXV to Georgia was special as they were the first school team to play in Georgia."
What are your aspirations?
"Create a destination for all students to develop their love of sport and exercise for life. Push to develop the facilities that will support a ground-breaking approach to curriculum PE."
What did you do this Summer?
"During the summer I took my place as part of the RGC under 16 coaching team that train throughout the holiday."
"I also play Beach rugby in Batumi, Georgia with the Bulldogs UK. This year the team also included two past SDC 1st XV players."
"All this mixed in with my favourite pastime - Daddy Day care & planning the future of SDC sport and PE."
