Staff are visiting Pembroke School in Kenya this week and have taken kit with them.
St David’s College supports the Shamas Rugby Foundation which works with over 1,500 beneficiaries from primary and secondary schools from urban slums in Nairob.
David Ward, Head of Strategic Management at SDC, said: "Shamas believes and so do we that by building children's confidence and self-awareness on and off the pitch, we can empower them to make better decisions in their lives and create better opportunities for themselves and enable them to live more fulfilling lives."
He added: "When we last played Shamas we realised that many of the children did not have football boots or gym shoes or kit."
"We would hugely appreciate it if you could bring any children’s boots or shoes, kit, second hand or new to donate to the Shamas as we are aiming to help ensure every child has a pair of shoes and kit to play rugby in."
