It's not every day you meet a nine-year-old weightlifter, who in her first ever competition was awarded a silver medal.
Cerys, from Rhos-on-Sea, who says she's powered by "pasta and cheese", says one day she'd like to be either a "famous dancer or weightlifter".
She took up the sport when she was seven and trains twice a week at a local club and does some extra training at home in her gym.
"I can snatch 17kg and do the same with clean and jerk," said Cerys.
"I've only been in one competition and got a silver medal, my next one is in South Wales in November and I can't wait," she added.
