This year we are making Christmas Shoe Bags for children from disadvantaged families across Conwy.
These bags will go a little way to making the festive season better for someone less fortunate than ourselves.
We will be collecting for boys, girls and babies. The Conwy Food Bank have suggested the bags (that can be bought from school) should contain items such as bubble bath, shampoo, small toys, stationary, toothbrush, hairbrush and sweets. For babies we need nappies, baby wipes, baby hat, baby toothbrush and dummies.
A spokesman for Conwy Food Bank said: "We are looking forward to be working on many future projects with St David's College, first will be the Shoe Bag project where drawstring bags filled with basics and treats will be given out in the run up to Christmas to the children of Conwy when they receive a food parcel.
The bags can be dropped off at school and they will be taken to Conwy Food Bank.
Many thanks to all the parents and pupils who have already sent bags in.
This appeal comes after our Harvest Festival campaign which saw a whole car full of food being taken to Conwy Food Bank.
