Headmaster Andrew Russell commented:
“These grades are a true reflection of the hard work and dedication to their studies that this cohort of students has displayed during their time at St David’s. I am especially proud of each individual journey and of the teachers who inspire a genuine love of learning. I am indebted to the staff at St David’s who have continued to educate all Year 11 students in preparation for their next steps during the summer term. It is equally impressive how each learner has risen to the challenge and taken advantage of the opportunities presented to them through our online learning platform since the enforced school closure. These have included A Level taster courses, the EPQ (Extended Project Qualification that we become an official centre for in September) and bespoke strength & conditioning programmes. We are looking forward to the return of this academically strong, ambitious and resilient year group who have the potential to be the confident and empathetic leaders that this world is in desperate need of”.
