The 1stXV played their first cup match of the season away on the Isle of Anglesey against Bodedern.
St Davids started well using their forwards to retain possession on a heavy pitch.
The hard work by the forwards gained field possition and from a scrum winger Mace darted over from a well worked move from the backs.
Bodedern then struck back and their bigger and heavier team posed constant problems on the heavy pitch.
St Davids did no panic and thier captain O'Sullivan marshalled the team well and his cool head steadied the ship.
The next try also came from a scrum with No.8 Goodwin powering past flailing defenders 12-5 at half time.
The second half saw Bodedern again user their size count and they barged over from close range. 12-10
This fired St Davids on and Roberts at 10 had an outstanding game varying his decisions and points of attack.
The next score can from a superb cross field kick which Mace chased down to release the fast improving back row, Palmer -Hall to run in from 40 meters. 19-10
The game was down being dominated in all areas by St Davids and Mace got his brace from a tricky and well worked backs move, the final score came from substitute lock Moloney using his size and strength to bulldoze under the posts.
