Drama student and former SDC pupil Emma Mulvihill is cutting her long locks for two very worthwhile causes.
Emma who is currently studying at the Performance Preparation Academy in Guildford doing a Musical Theatre Degree, has always been known for her long hair.
However, she has decided it’s time for a change and is going to donate her hair to the Little Princess Trust.
Emma who has starred in many of SDC’s drama productions said: “As well as donating my hair to the Little Princess Trust, I’m raising money for one of my best friends at drama school called Lydia.
“We both study musical theatre and she is on a diploma course which has zero funding compared to my funded degree course.”
“It means Lydia has to pay for everything with no student loans or anything, if she doesn't save enough money, she may have to drop out before she even gets to second year which would honestly break my heart, as she’s so talented.”
Emma is having her hair cut by her friend, very talented and award-winning Sophie Hendy, who is also a former SDC pupil. Her mum is house parent of Cader House Sian Mulvihill.
