As part of the creative writing work for the IGCSE English Language coursework, pupils have been learning about developing believable characters that interest a reader.
In Head of English Mrs Turner’s class, pupils worked in groups to create a model of a character and then presented it to the class by answering questions such as what is an unusual fact about the character and what do they do for a living?
Mrs Turner said: “Pupils enjoyed creating origami heads and a rotating parachute whilst developing their understanding of how details about characters can make a story more engaging.
“Ben, Luke, Ethan, Harry, Andrea, Euan, Daniel and Rico all put in a great effort.” Top marks, boys!
