Our Head Girl Olivia and Head Boy Ted have had a very busy start to the new school year.
One of the first things they've put together is a new Environmental Team to make the school a more environmentally friendly place to be.
Soon there will be recycling bins in every classroom, and pleasingly many of our students are getting stuck in with the new initiative, with Year Five and Six designing posters to be put up around the school.
Both Ted and Olivia have ran several school council meetings, where there are representatives from each year.
"Instead of them coming in and having a good old rant about any issues they may have, we are determined to find solutions," said Olivia.
Ted and Olivia have also helped organise two successful Open Days, taking around tours of parents and their children around the school.
Ted said: "Since becoming Head Boy I've really enjoyed talking a lot
more to the teachers, parents and pupils."
When asked what his highlight of the new school year so far was, he said with a smile: "Definitely beating Rydal Penrhos at rugby last weekend, winning 29 to nil, that was a great day."
After half-term the duo will be busily organising the Sixth Form Ball to be held at the Deganwy Quay Hotel, in March. The themes for the ball which will be voted on in the coming weeks will be: 'The Great Gatsby', 'Masquerade', the Oscars or 'Going Back to the 80s'.
