Today was the funeral of a much loved member of staff, Anwen Gibson, who had worked at St David's College, for nine years.
Anwen, 29, who was married to Richard, died on March 11 after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease just months after she gave birth to their second child Sophia, the couple already have a daughter called Ceri-Ann, who is five-years-old.
Anwen and Richard, who lived in Penmaenmawr, worked alongside each other in the school's ancillary team and she was known for her warmth and wit, and was a very popular member of staff.
Reverend Tim Hall, school Chaplain, took part in today's service, he said: "Anwen absolutely doted on Richard, and they both said the happiest day of their lives was when they got married."
"She died at home with Richard at her side. She was buried in her wedding dress, and Richard was wearing his wedding suit, and her father's shoes," said Mr Hall.
"Sadly, Anwen nursed her father through his illness. He also died of motor neurone disease."
Mr Hall added: "Anwen will be very much missed by all her friends and colleagues at St David's College, she was just a really lovely person who always made us smile."
