This Saturday saw one of the highlights of the house sporting calendar with the middle and senior boy’s rugby tournament.
An unexpected balmy Autumn morning provided the perfect backdrop to one of hardest fought competitions in years. Impressive individual performances abounded with Jamie Appleton-Booth, Ethan Thomas, Dan Jones and Euan Williams all impressing, but it was teamwork that told the story of the day.
Both Snowdon Seniors and Tryfan Juniors left absolutely nothing on the pitch and ran out eventual winners in their age groups. The overall final result will come down to tries scored and will be announced on Monday.
The competition was also marked by the spirit in which it was played. All of the houses competed hard but respected the opposition and contributed to a genuine festival atmosphere.
