For over a decade our Outdoor Education Department have been running the 3 Peaks Challenge, it means in one day those hardy lot taking part will have to climb Cader Idris, Snowdon and Tryfan.
A group of 10 took this year's challenge, starting at the ungodly hour of 3.30am and were
seeing the sun rise over Cader Idris at 5.40am. They had summited Cader by 7.30am, Tryfan by 1pm and then Snowdon by 6pm.
Head of Outdoor Education Ian Martin said: "It was the most beautiful day, and it was pretty amazing that a group of Sixth Formers managed to get up so early."
"They were a fantastic group and were still going strong walking up Snowdon, we managed to make it down to Pete's Eats Cafe, in Llanberis, by last orders."
