The St David's Rugby program added pre-season weekend training to its already exciting schedule. With a full week of training behind them the squad of 2019-20 gathered for talks on nutrition from new Athletic Development coach Ross Williams as well as an evening discussion on the core values and behaviour that they set for themselves this season.
Training on the Saturday was full blooded with many players coming in for their first year of 1st XV rugby.
The day also allowed players to show off their new kit and push for a starting place for the first game against St Marys Crosby on 25th September.
Backs coach Arthur Astbury said; ‘This is a young but exciting squad with real potential to play with pace and width, give them a few games and confidence and they will be truly dangerous’.
St David's College have also added Oswestry, AKS Lytham & Kirkham to their fixture list this year as well as a full 7’s calendar.
