Cadogan Centre
Our long-established SEN unit provides individual and small-group support for each pupil with learning difficulties
On entry or at prior interview, your child’s needs are assessed by our specialist staff, often with the help of a SEN Statement; an Individual Education Plan (IEP) is then created and modified as your child progresses through the school. The IEP is circulated to all academic departments, enabling cross-curricular help, general organisation and learning skills.
Learning and knowledge retention is always easier if it's fun and our skilled staff will recognise very quickly just what stimulates your child; from the wealth of state-of-the-art resources at our disposal, your child will benefit from a wide range of multi-sensory and interactive teaching methods, from computer games to thinking skills (Instrumental Enrichment). The Centre's expertise is recognised nationally, most importantly in our integration of specialist teaching within a mainstream environment. We are inspected and approved by the Council for the Registration of Schools teaching Dyslexic Pupils (CreSTeD) and are members of the British Dyslexia Association (BDA).
