Our job is to prepare you, suitably educated and equipped for life after St David’s, either into higher education or directly into your chosen career
The majority of you will go on to university, to read such diverse subjects as Anthropology (Sussex), Architecture & Environmental Design (Hull), Business Studies (UCNW), Civil Engineering (Salford), Criminology (Liverpool John Moores), Economics (Queens Belfast), Graphic Design (Blackpool), Law (Sheffield), Photography (Southampton), Philosophy (Reading), Politics & International Relations (Hull), Science & Engineering (Loughborough) and Sport Science (Outdoor Activities) (UCNW) to name but a few.
Along the way, the Careers Department and 6th Form Heads will have guided you through work experience, interviews, seminars, workshops and the dreaded UCAS to ensure that your chosen path is the right one for you. We even have a member of staff who trains you in public speaking!
And when you’ve left St David’s, what then? Although we're a young school, our Old Davideans' Association (ODA) already numbers over 1500 and according to the Friends Reunited website, 'is the friendliest school in Wales, where former pupils constantly keep in touch'. But I’m stealing their thunder – just click on 'Old Davideans' to find out more.
